The Faculty of Electrical Engineering began its educational activities in the field of Electrical-Control in the academic year 1994. Currently, this faculty continues its educational and research endeavors with 29 faculty members (including 10 professors, 11 associate professors, 7 assistant professors, and 1 instructor). It admits students at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels in Electrical Engineering (specializations in Control, Power, Telecommunications, and Electronics) as well as in Computer Engineering.

The faculty houses 11 laboratories, including educational labs for microprocessors, measurement and circuits, digital circuits, electric machines, linear control, electrical workshop, fundamentals of electricity, electronics 1 and 2, industrial electronics, project room, and research labs for ICT, microelectronics, computer networks, advanced control, renewable energies, and power electronics. These labs facilitate research projects and provide research services to scholars and researchers.
