The Power Electronics Research Laboratory was established in 2018 under the supervision of Dr. Kazem Warsi at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Sahand University of Technology. The most important goals of this research laboratory are:

Conducting research in research fields based on power electronics in order to respond to the needs of the industry
Feasibility and construction of practical samples using study results, in laboratory or semi-industrial dimensions, along with the production of technical knowledge.
Providing an environment for exchanging ideas and strengthening students' group research activities
The main framework of the research carried out in this laboratory are: designing and presenting a new (or improved) structure, modeling, controlling and improving the performance of systems based on power electronics.
