The Faculty of Mining Engineering at Sahand University of Technology is one of the oldest faculties at the university and a leading institution in Iran, well recognized among professionals in the field. Faculty members and students of this faculty publish numerous books and research articles annually in related specialized areas. The faculty currently has 19 academic staff members. Associate (at Varzeghan campus), Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs in Mining Engineering are offered at the Faculty of Mining Engineering. The faculty provides education in the following specializations: Mining Exploitation, Exploration, Mineral Processing, and Rock Mechanics.
