Regulations and Requirements for the Admission and Study of International Students

• The admission and study of international students at Sahand University of Technology (Tabriz) shall be carried out in accordance with the rules, laws, and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
• Applicants for study at Sahand University of Technology (Tabriz) are required to comply with all educational, academic, cultural, student affairs, and disciplinary regulations approved by the university. Failure to comply with any of these regulations will result in legal action in accordance with the relevant rules, bylaws, and approved guidelines.

• Compliance with all consular regulations, including obtaining a valid student visa and residence permit, is mandatory for all international students. In case of non-compliance with consular requirements, the university will take the necessary legal measures in accordance with the applicable regulations. All consular services, including visa issuance, residence issuance, residence extension, and exit-and-return permits, are provided free of charge.

• Education at Sahand University of Technology (Tabriz) is conducted in person, and students are required to be physically present in classes and educational activities.

• The language of instruction at all academic levels of the university is Persian (Farsi).

• At the time of registration, submission of the applicant’s original and valid identification documents is mandatory.

• Registration at the university constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms and conditions stated in the initial admission letter and its attachments.
• In case of an extended number of semesters (more than eight semesters for the Bachelor’s program, four semesters for the Master’s program, and eight semesters for the PhD program), tuition fees for the additional semesters will be calculated and added separately based on the university’s approved tuition rates.

• The student is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided at all stages of the registration process.
