Signing of Development Contract for Soroush Oil Field by Sahand University of Technology
According to the public relations office of Sahand Industrial University, on the sidelines of the 28th International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, a contract for the design, field pilot, and economic evaluation of the Soroush oil field was signed between the Iranian Offshore Oil Company and Sahand Industrial University.
Additionally, 12 knowledge-based contracts related to enhanced recovery and optimization of oil and gas production were signed with scientific centers and production companies affiliated with the National Iranian Oil Company.
Among these contracts, six agreements were signed between the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry and subsidiaries of the National Iranian Oil Company. These contracts include:
- Optimization of integrated development and production in the West Karoun region between the Oil Engineering and Development Company and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.
- Implementation of specialized projects in upstream and downstream oil and gas fields between the National Iranian South Oil Company and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, valued at one trillion rials.
- Screening and prioritization of underground natural gas storage capacities between the Planning Management of the National Iranian Oil Company and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.
- Optimization of ultra-light cement slurry for casing cementing in wells with severe loss circulation in the Rag Sefid oil field between the National Iranian South Oil Company and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.
- Design and construction of ultra-heavy cement slurry for application in wells in the Bibi Hakimeh oil field between the National Iranian South Oil Company and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.
- Prevention and control of drilling fluid loss using advanced LPM and LCM additives in the Bibi Hakimeh oil field between the National Iranian South Oil Company and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.
In addition to these contracts, six feasibility studies for the digitalization of the Darkhovin oil field were signed by the Director of Research and Technology at the National Iranian Oil Company, Arvandan Oil and Gas Company, and Amirkabir Industrial University.
