Autoclave (High Pressure and Temperature)

Manufacturing of composite materials and structures requires intense care in control of resin curing process to achieve a high quality and evenly distributed polymeric matrix across the medium. A programmable pressure and temperature controlled autoclave with 1.5 (m3) capacity already in DBM is available which could serve for manufacturing of relatively large scale research FRPs samples. The autoclave could handle the maximum of 10 (atm) pressurized air at elevated temperatures which could be raised to 200 ^oC.
