FURNACE

DBM could independently produce advanced energy absorbing materials such as metal foams at laboratory scale. It is mandatory to accomplish this task by melting parent metal at high temperatures. A 12 Kwatt electrical furnace has provided this capability for the lab. This furnace could heat up the containments up to 1000 ^oC.
