It is notable that most of the above mentioned high rate facilities are designed and manufactured domestically in DBM. Furthermore, accumulation of 10 years of research and focused exploration supports the knowledge and technology to fabricate some advanced porous kinetic energy absorbing materials such as open and closed cell metal foams which already, are producible in DBM.
