For almost every nano and micro scale product, it is important that particles are separated from other particles in order to enlarge the particle surface area and to achieve a uniform distribution. Even dispersions can easily be achieved by ultrasonication. In DBM, a Hielscher’s ultrasonicator is implemented for the production of fine-size dispersions in the micron- and nano-range.
